What’s been happening:

My career continues to take me to interesting sights and sounds. I was an administrator, faculty staff with Penn State for fifteen years as Assistant Director of a 12,000 residential life system, also teaching in several departments: English, Counselor Education, Health Education and Continuing Education. I enjoyed variety and diversity. I counseled part time in the community running therapy groups and eventually teaching in the state prison system part time at Rockview and Muncy prisons. This led me to return to Lock Haven and teaching full time for five years until they lost funding for my position. so I returned to full time jail counseling, running a unit for adolescents in an adult institution in Houtzdale. This led me to become the school principal there. I briefly married for ten years and had four stepchildren, but it didn't take. I am living part time in the country outside Muncy. I'm on a horse farm, 15 horses used to teach autistic kids self esteem. I teach every other month in Florida, usually writing or literature courses in intensive programs for Central American students seeking to improve their lives. Life is good. I freelance and do grant writing, I'm counseling at risk kids in Central PA, in a PhD program for counseling, and teaching this Fall, English at Lock Haven. I am happy healthy and challenged. Be of good cheer and drop a line now and again.
